Description
Villa Malier is a two storey, luxury villa with mountain views and an ornamental waterfall with ponds. The ground floor comprises one self-contained units each with its own bedroom, lounge, kitchen area and bathroom. Here you will also find ample off road parking and the maids quarters as well as beautifully maintained gardens that are ideal for children to play in. The second floor, that is reached by steps flanked with attractive water features, comprises a large infinity pool with a sun terrace and dining area, three attractive bedrooms, a large, well appointed kitchen with a large breakfast bar and a serving hatch to the rear outdoor eating area that has a beautiful view of the waterfall and a comfortable lounge area.
LOCATION
Villa Malier has a stunning location at Namuang that is tranquil and relaxing as well as being away from main roads making it a superb choice for guests with young children. Only a kilometer away you will find the beach, Thai massage, local stores and restaurants. Some ten kilometers away is the bustling town of Lamai where you will find numerous bars, restaurants, entertainment, an international supermarket, a superb white sandy beach, shops and tailors. The south of Koh Samui has some wonderful remote beaches, a butterfly farm, an aquarium, a snake show, a bird show and a superb rugged coastline that can be explored by car, bike or foot.
The ground floor apartments each have a bedroom which are pleasantly furnished and offer guests comfort and relaxation. The rooms both have a separate dressing area and en-suite bathrooms. The upper floor has three bedrooms on it, two are found on either side of the swimming pool with a third located through the lounge. All three of the upper floor bedrooms have built in wardrobes and en-suite bathrooms, with the second bedroom also having a separate dressing area. Guests are able to make an additional sleeping area on the second floor where there is a room that is suited for sleeping children.
Bathrooms
There are six bathrooms in total. They are all nicely designed and decorated. Each comes equipped with a WC and shower.
Dining Room
The villa has two main dining areas. The outdoor dining area is set in front of the pool and has seating facilities for up to eight people. Guests are kept cool by two ceiling fans and the area is covered. The dining area lies next to the Villas perimeter wall and the section of the wall by the dining area has an impressive and attractive stone wall carving. There is also a dining area at the back of the lounge. This is slightly smaller in size than the outside dining area, capable of seating up to four people. Its location next to the kitchen and the fact there is a serving hatch between the kitchen and dining area makes serving food an ease. A BBQ can be found in this dining area and guests are provided with wonderful views.
Kitchen
The upper floor kitchen has all the facilities and equipment needed for any self-catering guests may wish to do. The appliances found within the room are all modern and of high quality. They include a built-in microwave and also a built-in oven that has a five ring gas hob. Smaller appliances on offer include a rice cooker, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, large free standing fridge and also a huge range of cooking utensils. For guests ease, a guest bathroom is located at the rear of the kitchen.
Living Rooms
Decorated in a stylish manner, with the furnishings all having been carefully selected, the lounge offers guests the ideal location to relax in. Technology comes in the form of large flat panel TV that is stored in an eye-catching hard wood built-in cabinet. Its location on the first floor means the room often benefits from cooling breezes that flow in and guests can soak up the glorious views of the mountains and of the waterfall feature found in the garden. From the room access to the pool and the outdoor dining area is possible.
