True to its given name which originates from a coastal community in New England's Cape Cod and bordering Buzzards Bay, this home was extensively renovated in 1996. The owner and builder, wishing to recapture the charm and historic nature of the original structure, took inspiration from many of the Queen Anne style Victorian homes to be found on the West Coast. From the cedar shingled exterior with its gingerbread accents to its cozy interiors with deep window sills and built-up trim work, the excellent workmanship conveys the pride of ownership that contributes to making this a memorable vacation on the Oregon Coast.

Located across from the Newport Performing Arts Center and one block from the Don Davis Veterans' Memorial Park, which has fast become the most comfortable beach entrance in the Nye Beach area, Fairhaven is centrally located so that visitors can park their car in the provided garage and walk to the beach or enjoy the many quality restaurants that have sprung up in this unique community.

This two-bedroom cottage will sleep six persons comfortably. Its one queen bed and one full bed along with a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room will give all a good night's sleep. Sip your morning coffee in the east-facing sitting room while enjoying the beautifully appointed garden and deck area, or limber up those bones in the garden and deck surrounded jacuzzi. The owners have gone to great lengths to make this home a memorable place for your next vacation. Don't forget to bring your favorite music on either CD or tape or just cozy up and watch a movie on the provided VCR.
