It is approximately a one-mile walk on the beautiful Kings Trail, which is a paved, ocean-front pathway that takes you through an ancient lava field. It is not treacherous. You can also drive to the beach, which takes about 5 minutes.  Hali'i Kai is located within the beautiful Waikoloa Beach Resort, which features two golf courses and the Kings Shops. The Kings Shops offer excellent shopping, dining, and nightly entertainment.
