Our house Casita Iguana is situated on this beautiful island of Culebra surrounded with incredible beaches, often deserted. Casita Iguana is a cozy and spacious house in the Villa Muneco area of beautiful Culebra, Puerto Rico. The large and private lot is surrounded by mature trees in which you will no doubt see a few iguanas spread out on the branches taking in the sun. The house has a 35-ft balcony where you can enjoy your meals and relax while taking in the constant breeze.The inside has high ceilings with fans in the living/dining/kitchen open area. The huge master bedroom has a King size bed and the guest bedroom has a double bed. Both rooms have ceiling fans and air-conditioning. The house offers high speed internet and is equipped with sound system , flat screen TV and DVD recorder/player. A very comfortable rental property for a couple or family.Some of the best beaches in the world are close to Casita Iguana. Most beaches can be accessed by car,jeep, scooter, or even bicycle. Other more secluded beaches are accessible by hiking trails. The island offers “publico†transport regularly throughout the day to its most famous Playa Flamenco (ranked second in top 10 exotic beaches in the world).The house is about a 10 minute walk from the “publico†pick-up spot. Pick-up and drop-off from the house to most popular beaches can also be arranged with public taxis for a reasonable fee. Playa Flamenco is about 2 miles (3.2km) away, Tamarindo is 1.8 miles (3km), Zoni beach is 5 miles (8km), etc. By renting a water taxi, you can get to some of the most secluded beaches around Culebra on Culebrita and Luis Pena islands.
