An older traditional kiwi bach on a fully fenced, large front section located directly across from Brophy’s beach and close to the estuary. This beach is safe for the little ones and has the advantage of being 3 kms just out of town, close enough to have easy access to the restaurants, cafes, shops and supermarket.

Features Description

The master bedroom has a king sized bed, dresser and bedside table and the second bedroom has a set of single bunks and a double bed.  The lounge/ dining area is carpeted, has fabric drapes, wooden panelled walls and a ranchslider, which opens out on to a small deck on the beachside of the house.  Furnishings include a 3 seater and 2 seater couches, an armchair, side table, television, video and a stereo with CD/cassette.  The dining area has a wooden dining table with wooden framed chairs. Surcharge of $50 per night will apply if caravan is used.

Surrounding Description

The largest settlement of holiday homes along this coastline, there is 4.5 kms of long white sandy beach which is gently sloping and very safe for children and is excellent for boogie-boarding. Amenities include numerous free tennis courts, a general store/dairy for grocery items and liquor, Pipers Cafe and a hardware/hire store. 

Nearby Attractions Description

There are also many well planned reserves and access walkways to the beach, it is flat and fun for young cyclists. Very social atmosphere during the summer and a popular choices for families.
