Other features include a TV and video, a CD/radio/cassette stereo, an electric oven, a fridge/freezer, a microwave, small liquidizer for milkshakes, washing machine, outdoor furniture and a 3 burner gas BBQ. There is an expansive flat area of grass at the front of the section, ideal for children playing and parking including a trampoline, swings and a slide.

Surrounding Description

Wharekaho also known as Simpsons Beach is located within an eight minute drive north of central Whitianga. The beach is two kilometers in length and offers small surf which is good for boogie-boarding, and enjoys semi-sheltered almost estuary like conditions and safe anchorage from all but easterly storms. There are tuatuas, paua, mussels and fishing spots in the area, surfcasting is possible at both ends of the beach. Crayfish (by snorkel) and scallops (by scuba diving) spots are within 20 minutes There are walks of historic interest and scenic places in the district. There are no shops in Wharekaho, the nearest being Whitianga.
