This is a cozy two-storied bach on a large fully fenced section, with decking at the beach side of the house, located approximately 100 meters from the beach or a 2-minute walk. There are four bedrooms in total comfortably sleeping 8, two bathrooms and two living areas.

Features Description

The upstairs floor has polished particleboard flooring. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with a duo bunk set (double bottom, single top). The living area although small contains two sofas, and a small television. there is no tv reception at Opito Bay, so bring your own DVD or Video. The fully equipped kitchen is small but adequate, has a fridge/freezer, standard stove and microwave, and a good selection of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. The upstairs bathroom has a shower, toilet and vanity. The downstairs is accessed by way of external stairs only and has two small bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with a set of single bunks and a living area, with 2 x 3 seater sofas and a cane armchair, an ideal rumpus room for older children.

Surrounding Description

The largest settlement of holiday homes along this coastline, there is 4.5 kms of long white sandy beach which is gently sloping and very safe for children and is excellent for boogie-boarding. Amenities include numerous free tennis courts, a general store/dairy for grocery items and liquor, Pipers Cafe and a hardware/hire store.

There are also many well planned reserves and access walkways to the beach, it is flat and fun for young cyclists. Very social atmosphere during the summer and a popular choices for families. There is a boat ramp onto the Whangapoua harbor and an air landing strip.
