All of the bedrooms are carpeted including the master bedroom which has a double bed and a chest of drawers. The second bedroom was once part of the living area with the back door now fixed shut and a wall and door now separating it from the living area. It has a queen sized bed and 2 sets of drawers and a ranch slider opening onto the front deck, it is from this room that the two remaining smaller bedrooms are accessed from with both having a set of single bunks each. The open plan dining, lounge area is carpeted, has fabric curtains and ranch sliders out to the deck. The lounge has an older lounge suite, coffee table, bookcase and two oil column heaters for any cooler evenings. Opito Bay does not get any TV reception without a Sky dish, so there is NO television at this property. The dining area has a wooden dining table and 5 chairs, 3 are wooden framed and two are steel framed with vinyl seats.

Surrounding Description

  The largest settlement of holiday homes along this coastline, there is 4.5 kms of long white sandy beach which is gently sloping and very safe for children and is excellent for boogie-boarding. Amenities include numerous free tennis courts, a general store/dairy for grocery items and liquor, Pipers Cafe and a hardware/hire store.

There are also many well planned reserves and access walkways to the beach, it is flat and fun for young cyclists. Very social atmosphere during the summer and a popular choices for families. There is a boat ramp onto the Whangapoua harbor and an air landing strip.
