A small street, it is perfect for younger children on bikes or scooters and a walk to the end of the street, through the reserves takes you to the beach. The shop is a 5-minute walk away.
Features Description
This holiday home features a microwave, kettle and fridge/freezer with storage for kitchen appliances. An outdoor shower is on one side. The caravan sleeps six, with a double bed at one end and four “bunk type beds at the other. Plenty of storage is available. The “sleepout” has a double bed, two foldout futon sofa beds, TV and stereo. A 4 burner gas BBQ is adjacent to an octagonal BBQ table. At the rear of the property is a garden shed, which houses the family’s sporting equipment, automatic washing machine and an additional fridge/freezer.Surrounding Description
The largest settlement of holiday homes along this coastline, there is 4.5Kms of long white sandy beach which is gently sloping and very safe for children and is usually excellent for boogie-boarding. Amenities include numerous free tennis courts, a general store/dairy for grocery items and liquor, Pipers Café and a hardware/hire store. There are also many well planned reserves and access walkways to the beach, it is flat and fun for young cyclists. Very social atmosphere during the summer and a popular choices for families. There is a boat ramp onto the Whangapoua harbor and an air landing strip.
