The lake shore towns are worth the visit, all of them, some more so than others, shops, old temples, prehispanic ruins, great food, and fantastic souvenirs. Also the near by town of Santa Clara del Cobre and the town of Zirahuen and the lake of the same name. A great visit is Uruapan, with its National Park La Zararacua (water fall) and the nearby town of Angaguan with the extinct Paricutin Volcano and the lava sorrounded old Church.
At the property itself, relaxing, but nearby there are many things to do, from a Jack Nicklaus Professional Gulf Course (Tres Marias), tennis couts, horse back riding, kayaking, canopy tours, biking, ultra light flyies, hiking, bird watching, swimming, shopping, movie theatres and many local tours.
