Our oceanfront holiday home, BUOY-O-BUOY, is located just south of the 49th Parallel and mid-way between the quaint seaside towns of Chemainus and Ladysmith on the east side of Vancouver Island. BUOY-O-BUOY is five minutes from two marinas, and just one and a half hours north of Victoria.The home has a low bank leading to a beach with soft sand, small pebbles and sea shells. The beach varies in size - 12.8 foot tides - and provides an attractive place for long strolls. This bright, north facing home has beautiful views of the ocean, mountains and surrounding islands.All rooms at BUOY-O-BUOY are fully furnished, decorated and include linens. The home has four spacious bedrooms, (1 King, 2 Queens and a pair of twins) two of which have a view of the ocean. There are two full bathrooms with a tub in the upstairs suite and a shower in the downstairs suite.The house also includes a living room with high ceiling glass windows and a gas fireplace, family/games room with a gas fireplace and 50" plasma television, dining room facing the ocean with a 6 foot wide deck, a kitchen complete with all appliances and utensils and a fully equipped laundry room.For your enjoyment, utilities such as cable TV and light speed internet capability, telephone and a BBQ are included during your stay. A housekeeper is provided once a week for your convenience when renting for a month or more.
