This villa is part of a cozy new project, which completed in August 2011. The rectangular-shaped modern 2 bedroomed villa is set over 2 stories with upper bedrooms facing north-south, with a cool but small private water pool waterfalls in an open air courtyard just a few steps away from the residential (as opposed to tourist) Chalong beach with nice views of islands and boats in the bay. The beach is more suitable for walking/jogging than swimming off and the fresh breezes and winds are very suitable for kite-surfing, with a base camp just beside the plot! A couple of boats are also easily stored in the garden and launched in the shallow waters. There is also a popular meeting place for residents and bands at the appropriately named Friendship Beach nearby.

LOCATION
Friendship Villa is only about 30 metres from Chalong beach and 2 kilometres walk or 5 minute drive from Chalong Pier with anchorages for boats in the sheltered bay and the start point for many day trips, sailing, snorkelling and diving trips to outlying islands. The villa is only 40 metres from the kite-surfing base camp off the east facing beach, or 10 minute drives to south facing Nai Harn, Yanui and Jungle beaches. The villa is also only 15 minutes to the west facing Kata/Karon beaches and 30 minutes to Patong beach with its vibrant nightlife. With just a five minute drive to Rawai, Nai Harn and Chalong restaurants, bars and massage parlours, the villa is ideally located for convenient holiday fun. Shopping options such as the mini Tesco-Lotus supermarkets are also within a 5 minute drive and a 10 minute drive to Villa Market in Chalong. Friendship Villa is approximately 20-30 minutes from Phuket City department stores, and 45 minutes to Phuket International Airport.

VACATION VILLA ACCOMMODATION

Bedrooms
The two upstairs bedrooms both house flat screen TVs and DVD players, wooden floors, lots of cupboard space, dressing table and separate en-suite bathrooms. The guest bedroom has two single beds and faces south with views overlooking a coconut plantation. The master bedroom has a double bed and faces north overlooking the pool below and kite-surfing base in the neighboring plot.

Bathrooms
The Guest Bedroom bathroom has a shower, toilet and wash basin. The master bedroom ensuite bathroom has a bath with mini Jacuzzi, shower, double wash basins and toilet. The ground floor bathroom beside the pool has a toilet and wash basin but no shower.

Dining Room
Right beside the kitchen and living areas, the wooden glass-topped dining table has space for 6 sets and diners. There is also a side table and two cushioned chairs for coffee breaks. There is a more than adequate set of smart dishes, bowls, glasses, cups and utensils available.

Kitchen
The modern western kitchen, beside the front door and dining area, contains new appliances such as fridge/freezer, electric stove/oven/ventilator, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, supplies of tea/coffee, even a vacuum and iron/board stored away, in several shiny clean cut cupboards.

Living Rooms
Right beside the dining area and sliding glass panels leading out to a private swimming pool, the living area has large flat screen TV with satellite channels and DVD player, speakers, sofa for 3, and 2 chairs, small carpet on marble floor, and a few cupboards/desk space for artifacts. The L-shaped pool, about 1.5 metes deep, has small wooden deck, lounge chairs and stone steps towards the bathroom, 2 cascading waterfalls with on/off switch and a small plant patch, exposed to outside air and sunlight, but cooled by an overhead fan.
