Set within Pimalai Resort on the south-west corner of Koh Lanta there would be little need to venture away from the complex. Two libraries with high-speed internet and books in French, German, and Japanese complement the daily newspaper deliveries available at cost. Transport around the resort is provided by a quick call to reception whether its to take you to breakfast, the beach, or to take a bicycle for exploring further afield at no extra charge. Koh Lanta has 11 beaches so you may wish to rent a car or motorbike with sidecar to head up to the main town of Saladan where every convenience for the tourist is available including ATMs, souvenir and diving shops, and seafood restaurants serving the freshest fare the sea can offer.
