Description
The bach is situated on a grassy knoll above Kuaotunu Beach at the highest point of a very quiet cul de sac. There are no immediate neighbors. The property is bordered to the north by council reserve land planted in shrubs, to the south by a vacant section, west is farmland and to the east the Pacific Ocean. There are unimpeded 180-degree views of the ocean, offshore islands and the coastline in both directions. There are no private properties in front of the bach between it and the sea. The access to the beach is via a steepish path at the bottom of the cul de sac.

This holiday home features three bedrooms, two baths, stereo system with record, cassette player, and amplifier (No CD), fridge/freezer, a bench top gas cooker with 2 hobs and a grill. (Gas source is from a refillable cylinder); the microwave is above the hot water cylinder. There is No Conventional Oven but there is a large electric fry pan, and the usual selection of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery, outdoor furniture, picnic table and 3-burner gas BBQ.Surrounding Description
Once a thriving gold mining town, Kuaotunu is located approximately 15kms north of Whitianga on SH25. North facing beach with good swimming, snorkeling, and the surf can be excellent off the Blackjack Point. The rocky outcrops can be good for shell collecting, the 2kms stretch of beach is popular for walks. There is a boat ramp, and some excellent fishing, surfcasting and diving spots. Bush walks via a walkway on the Waitaia Road leading to an abandoned gold mine with glow-worms and the Kiwi Sanctuary. The river and lagoon is ideal for children. A general store including liquor, petrol, LPG and dive tank refill facilities.Nearby Attractions Description
