The lounge is carpeted, has wooden veneer wall paneling and fabric curtains, and contains a 2 seater cane couch and matching armchair, two draylon armchairs, coffee table, television and a mini system stereo. The dining area has linoleum floors, and contains a wooden dining table, 6 wooden framed fabric covered chairs, 4 steel framed vinyl covered chairs and a 2 seater divan couch. The kitchen has an oven/stove, fridge/freezer, older microwave, electric fry pan, top cook griller unit, pantry, toaster, electric jug, coffee percolators and all the usual crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans etc. The bathroom and laundry has a shower, vanity, toilet, agitator washing machine and tub. The outdoors has the deck at the front that has built-in bench height railing tops, picnic table, 5 fold-up chairs, and two large wooden slatted chairs with fabric cushions, sun umbrella and a round gas barbeque.Surrounding Description
Once a thriving gold mining town, Kuaotunu is located approximately 15kms north of Whitianga on SH25. North facing beach with good swimming, snorkeling, and the surf can be excellent off the Blackjack Point. The rocky outcrops can be good for shell collecting, the 2kms stretch of beach is popular for walks. There is a boat ramp, and some excellent fishing, surfcasting and diving spots.Nearby Attractions Description
Bush walks via a walkway on the Waitaia Road leading to an abandoned gold mine with glow-worms and the Kiwi Sanctuary. The river and lagoon is ideal for children.
