Cut stone walls brought from England over 200 years ago as ship’s ballast comprise the 18 inch walls of the Main House of the Estate which features 16 feet high vaulted ceilings. The floors consist of tiles from England, Mexico and South America. The Main House consists of the Great Room complete with pool table, large TV, VCR and sound system. An inlaid games table provides for chess, backgammon and checkers and there are comfortable sitting areas. Dramatic French doors open to a 330’ wrap-around stone verandah that is furnished with al fresco dining tables, sitting areas and a tempting hammock and lawn leading to the private pool. The spacious master bedroom suite is accessed via massive and tall mahogany doors. The kitchen, butler’s panty and powder room are located in the Main House as well.A tiled pathway leads 30 feet from the Main House to The Cottage. The Cottage houses three additional bedrooms which can be connecting for parents and children or kept private via locking doors. A lovely furnished verandah fronts The Cottage. The Hideaway houses the fifth bedroom complete with a queen sized bed and en-suite bathroom. Louvered doors open to the west wall and to the wrap around verandah with breakfast table, sitting area and hammock overlooking a ravine. Provides a private 14’ x 24’ hideaway which is ideal for honeymooners.The accommodations consist of five air-conditioned bedrooms which are located under three separate roofs and accessed by connecting pathways. All of these bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms, cable TV, boom box and mini-fridge.The master bedroom is 22’ x 30’ and features a king sized, 4 poster antique canopy bed as well as a spacious en-suite bathroom complete with double vanity, bidet, glass walled walk in shower and sunken tub. A mahogany desk houses the computer and there is complementary Internet access. French doors open to the verandah, pool and breathtaking view.The chef at the Drambuie Estate indulges guests with many specialties served on fine Wedgwood bone china. The night views from the dinner table are incredible and beautiful beyond words.The Estate includes a complementary full time driver who is available to handle all airport transfers as well as trips to beaches, water sports, restaurants, shops and various tour destinations. IT is appropriate for guests to tip the driver locally.Please note that the Drambuie Estate has dogs that are free to roam the property if desired. The animals are friendly and gentle with children. Upon request, the dogs may be kept in their large fenced yard all day during your vacation.
