Al Estero's name means just what it says - "At the Estuary!"  It is located on the beach on a relatively narrow part of the island. The home has convenient frontage right on the estuary, and a small launch is available for fishing or exploring the manglar with its many meandering sloughs.

All of the houses we offer have most of the things you would expect in a vacation home, including beds & bedding sufficient for the number of persons in your party and the length of your stay;  kitchen equipped with range and oven, refrigerator-freezer, pots, pans, coffee machine, rice cooker, toaster, microwave, dishes and silverware;  tables, chairs and couches for dining and relaxing;  television; armoirs or highboys or both, for clothing and linen storage;  bath and kitchen towels but not beach towels; and a small "starter kit" of cleansers, condiments, rice, coffee, milk dry cereal, and a selection of fresh tropical fruits in season. This home features a master bedroom suite with a private bath, as well as two other bedrooms, one containing three bunks and the other a double bed and a single. A tiled kitchen and large living-dining room, a swimming pool, and a rancho with barbecue and installed electricity complete the facilities available here.

Steps away from this great party-house you will find the "Soda La Amistad," where breakfast is usually available. Behind the Soda you will find the only full-time fisherman on Isla Palo Seco, where you can buy fresh seafood as available.  We recommend that you arrange for breakfast the day before you'll want it, and for fish or shrimp at least two days ahead.
